Requested to have my defense scheduled. Confirmed with my committee members that they received hard copies of my defendable draft. Started planning a presentation of my research to the department. Reached out to a few contacts regarding jobs. Decided it was way too cold to take too many pictures.

Sent a full draft of the paper to a second reader. Started a draft of an abstract for a conference. Watched a guy color in an entire page of the New York Times with a ballpoint pen.

Reopened Atlas.ti and started reanalyzing data for the brand new chapter I got asked to write. Started reading through interview excerpts about the emotional costs associated with seeking safety. Ordered so much Indian food for dinner that the cashier asked how many people I was buying food for. Shame-panicked and dishonestly said two.
