Read some articles about social welfare policy and low-income women’s vulnerability to domestic violence.  Tracked down one of the last 2013 Stendig calendars in the five boroughs.

Read some articles about the domestic violence movement’s (lack of) framework for anti-poverty advocacy.  Pulled some articles on personal power and mental health.  Listened to the couple sitting next to me talk about whether he had sufficiently shown that he was sorry for two hours.

Read two articles about welfare reform.  Sketched out a chapter section on the impact of siloed public systems on women living in poverty.  Ate a burrito of shame by myself in Chipotle.

Started writing a literature review on economic violence.  Ate lunch with my favorite troublemaker and talked about the human depravity I witness every time I go to a library.

Wrote (my first!) 2.5 pages on the weaknesses of current research and strategies addressing economic violence by an intimate partner.  Remembered how much I don’t like writing.
